Heart of a Fan Announces Partnership with the SGs of Nashville SC’s Backline Collective

Heart of a Fan is proud to announce a first of its kind partnership with the Backline Collective, a collection of supporters groups for the MLS club, Nashville SC. This collaboration will highlight the unique stories of their devoted fans and showcase the many diverse and unique stories of their groups.

Matthew Barry, host and producer of Heart of a Fan, shared his excitement for the partnership:

“Having groups like those in the Backline Collective join this project is a true testament to the incredible stories they have to share. Each group brings its own unique history and perspective, from the veterans-backed FUBAR SG and the Latinx-focused La Brigada de Oro to Mixtape 615, one of the preeminent Black-led supporters' groups. Add to that the community-minded Roadies, Assembly, Eastern Front, and Music City Heaters, and you have a vibrant tapestry of fandom.

We’re thrilled to produce and share the diverse stories of these amazing communities—on and off the pitch—in the heart of Music City with you.”

“The Backline Supporters Collective is a group of fans working together to create the pre-eminent Matchday environment in Major League Soccer. Made up of members from all Recognized Supporters Groups, BSC comes together each Matchday to coordinate a pre-game atmosphere for all fans, to orchestrate a rowdy and raucous environment in the Supporters Section, and to facilitate away match travel.
