Heart of a Fan Announces Docu-series with The American Outlaws, The Voyageurs, and Pancho Villa’s Army Ahead of 2026 World Cup
The largest sporting event in the world will arrive on American shores in just one year, when the 2026 World Cup kicks off in Los Angeles next summer. It marks the beginning of what many are calling the “sports mega-decade,” as multiple high-profile international sporting events—including the Olympics (2028, 2034), the Rugby World Cup (2031, 2033), and the Women’s World Cup (2031)—are set to be hosted in the U.S.
As we approach this major moment in American sports history, Heart of a Fan is proud to announce its first major docuseries: Flags of Our Fans.
Produced in collaboration with the national team supporters’ groups of the United States (The American Outlaws), Canada (The Voyageurs), and Mexico (Pancho Villa’s Army), this monthly series will spotlight a different World Cup host city and the national team supporters who call it home. Each city brings its own culture, challenges, and community-driven solutions to the table—offering insight into how fans are navigating the road to 2026.
We’re honored to give these groups a platform to highlight their members, share their stories, and offer lessons on how we can build—and give back to—our communities through sports fandom.
